Mighty Warriors are reportedly stranded as Zifa is still to secure air tickets for their flight to Cameroon.
The women’s side is participating in the Africa Women Cup of Nations (Awcon) finals.
Their first game is on Saturday against Banyana Banyana.
The Mighty Warriors last week lost to Banyana Banyana in a friendly in Harare.
Zifa communications manager Xolisani Gwesela confirmed the travel chaos.
“They should be leaving on Wednesday, but we have not secured the tickets.
” We don’t have sponsors, but we are working on something and hopefully it will materialise” he said.
Zimbabwe are in group B alongside the hosts Cameroon, Egypt and neighbours South Africa.
The 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations will be the 12th edition of the Africa Women Cup of Nations, the biennial international football championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the woman’s national teams of Africa.
The tournament will be held in Cameroon between 19 November and 3 December 2016.
The other group consists of Mali, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.
